Lewis Hamilton showed at Silverstone that he can be incisive even in difficult conditions and at Spa the weather variables could become a precious ally for the Reds. Charles Leclerc is looking for redemption after a complicated weekend and in internal discussions there is a sense of the need to immediately raise the level to avoid another Sunday of chasing. Ferrari is preparing an updated aerodynamic package with changes to the floor and beam wing to seek an improvement in terms of efficiency and downforce, details that could make the difference on the fast section of the Kemmel where top speed becomes essential to defend or attack. Tyre management will be another key point, Spa is not as aggressive on the fronts as Silverstone but degradation remains an aspect that should not be underestimated especially in the case of a hot track or rapid drying after rain.
