The 2025 Rallye du Maroc, scheduled for October 10th to 17th, represents the grand finale of the World Rally-Raid Championship (W2RC). Everything will be on the line on the Moroccan sands: the season finale will decide the titles and cap off an intense year of sand, dunes, and extreme strategies.

The 2025 W2RC season encompassed five stages in total, starting with the Dakar Rally, passing through Abu Dhabi, South Africa, and Portugal, before arriving at this epilogue in North Africa. The Rallye du Maroc is not only a symbolic event but also the most anticipated: rankings and fortunes are often reversed here.

The schedule includes the opening of technical and administrative checks between October 10th and 11th, followed by the prologue on the 12th, which will determine the starting order. The five main stages will take place from October 13th to 17th, starting in Fez and ending with a fixed bivouac in Erfoud. The route covers a total of approximately 2,299 kilometers, 1,478 of which are timed, with mixed terrain ranging from dunes and sandy tracks to rocky and technical sections. It’s a race that requires experience, precise navigation, and perfect vehicle management.

Among the most anticipated competitors is Daniel Sanders, determined to complete a dream season after victories in previous events, including the Dakar. The Australian driver is aiming for the “grand slam,” a goal never achieved in the young history of the World Rally Raid Championship. The fight for titles remains open in other categories as well, and many teams are ready to risk everything to finish the year on top.

This edition will also have historic significance: it will be the last organized under the direction of David Castera and ODC Events. Former Dakar champion Marc Coma will take over in 2026, taking over the helm of the event with the aim of further expanding the rally’s international reach.

The technical challenges will be as tough and decisive as ever: navigating the desert, testing vehicle reliability on grueling routes, managing race pace, and dealing with extreme weather conditions—heat, wind, and sand—that can change everything at a moment’s notice.

The 2025 Rallye du Maroc will therefore be much more than a simple competition: it will be the culmination of an intense season, a test that combines courage, precision, and endurance. In the expanses of the Sahara, among dunes and endless tracks, the final pages of the world rally-raid championship will be written, and only those who combine speed, strategy, and mental strength will be able to lift the most coveted trophy.
