Alex Marquez: “Misano will be a different story”
Fresh from his brilliant victory in Barcelona, Alex Marquez kept his feet on the ground: “That race was crucial for confidence, but Misano is a different track and historically a tough one for me. The first sector always puts me in trouble, let’s see if the GP24 can help with braking and corner entry.”
Bagnaia between pride and caution
All eyes are on Francesco Bagnaia, racing in front of his home fans. The Ducati star was cautious: “Barcelona was not good enough – starting 21st and finishing 7th is not the result we want. At Misano we must step up from Friday: we can’t afford another complicated weekend. Here overtaking is difficult, so qualifying at the front is key.” Bagnaia hopes Misano’s grippier asphalt can ease the issues seen in Catalunya.
Yamaha: debut of the new V4

The spotlight, however, remains firmly on Marc Marquez, edging closer to a title that could be sealed as soon as Motegi. The Spaniard stated: “Every point matters, winning here would be special even if the math is delayed.”
