The Loket round of the 2025 Motocross World Championship provided two days of intense and spectacular racing, confirming that the season is more open than ever. On the historic Czech track, with its ups and downs and technical terrain, the crowd pushed the riders to give their all, resulting in a top-notch weekend.

In MXGP, Lucas Coenen had the perfect day. Precise starts, a consistent pace, and no mistakes: the Belgian KTM rider dominated the field, taking home the overall win. Behind him, Romain Febvre was solid but unable to match the winner’s attack, while Glenn Coldenhoff completed the podium. This victory also boosts Coenen’s momentum in the overall standings: the French Kawasaki rider remains the leader, but the gap has now been reduced to just ten points, opening up interesting scenarios for the upcoming races.

In MX2, Simon Längenfelder took center stage. The German rider set an unsustainable pace for everyone, winning both heats and consolidating his championship lead. Second place on the day went to Andrea Adamo, increasingly convincing in his growth and firmly in contention for the title. Mathis Valin finished third, continuing to demonstrate his talent and consistency. The standings see Längenfelder in the lead ahead of Adamo and Kay de Wolf, with gaps that promise further battles.

Loket confirmed its status as one of the most captivating circuits on the calendar, with its combination of tight corners and fast sections, which leave no room for distractions and reward those who can best interpret the terrain. The large crowds made the atmosphere even more intense.

With six rounds remaining, the MXGP and MX2 World Championships remain wide open. The next few rounds will be crucial to determine whether Febvre and Längenfelder can maintain their lead or whether their pursuers can overturn the standings.
