Pole and victory for the BMW rider, Manzi triumphs in WorldSSP
The new Balaton Park circuit opened with a dominant performance from Toprak Razgatlioğlu (BMW), who took his first pole position and first overall victory at the Hungarian track. Starting from pole, the Turkish rider crossed the finish line almost four seconds ahead of the Ducatis of Nicolò Bulega and Álvaro Bautista.
• In Superpole, Razgatlioğlu used the new E0479 extra-soft development rear tyre, while in the race he chose the standard SC1 front and SC0 rear combination, a strategy that rewarded consistency.
• The two Ducati riders instead opted for the E0125 soft development rear tyre.
• Before the accident, 19 of the 23 riders had chosen the SC1 front; only Lecuona (Honda), Lowes (Bimota), Gerloff (Kawasaki), and Van der Mark (BMW) had opted for the SC2.
• On the rear, in addition to the winner, Petrucci, Vickers, Gerloff, and Van der Mark also used the standard SC0 rear tire, while the others chose the E0125. In the second start, only Zaidi (Honda) switched from the E0125 to the standard SC0.

WorldSSP: Manzi dominates
In Supersport, Stefano Manzi (Yamaha) took a solo victory, using the SC1 front and SCX rear combination. All the riders used the same tire choice, except Ana Carrasco (Honda), who preferred a SC0 rear.
On the podium with Manzi: Can Oncu (Yamaha), second, and Bo Bendsneyder (MV Agusta), third.
